Hi! Thanks for dropping by. I am Karen Makowski, an artist from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I am an avid hiker and explorer of gardens, capturing images with my camera. Then I bring these images to life with a new infusion of color, mood and texture. I work with acrylics on a variety of supports, often including textural elements.
I am member of several art associations, and show regularly around Calgary.
